The Rhyn Bowling Club
The present club was established in 2020 in the midst of COVID.
Although we started with the sole intention to save the club, our ambitions have since ran away with us somewhat.
With a brand-new clubhouse and new seated stand in construction, we currently have 2 league teams and a veteran’s team.
We hope to develop our membership to have at least 4 league teams and retain the veterans.

We have already installed 2 annual competitions in 2021:
- Glyn Evans Memorial Trophy – in memory of a long-standing member.
- The Rhyn Open – which is aimed at Bowlers from across the UK and was won in its 1st year (2021) by the UK’s undisputed No. 1 Bowler: Callum Wraight.

We will be adding at least 2 more annual competitions in 2022 aimed at local bowlers.
The green facilities are currently benefiting from the sponsorship of a member’s company – PJ Scaffolding LTD, with the intention of The Rhyn Bowling Club offering its members the best facilities bar none to secure the future of the bowling in Weston Rhyn for generations to come!
Our club captain is currently Dave Hayes.
